In Argentina, certain official documents, such as birth certificates, contracts, academic degrees, powers of attorney, and court documents, require a certified (sworn) translation carried out by a Certified Public Translator.
This translation not only guarantees the accuracy of the original text but must also be legalized by the relevant Association of Certified Translators, granting full legal validity and recognition by both public and private institutions.
I am a registered member of:
- Colegio de Traductores Públicos de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires (Association of Certified Translators of the City of Buenos Aires)
- Colegio de Traductores Públicos de San Luis (Association of Certified Translators of San Luis)
The intervention of these Associations ensures that the translation is legally binding and prevents potential legal or administrative issues in both national and international procedures.
